A typical residential solar system design is shown in the image above. This shows the basic design of a residential grid tied system.
 | To the left shows an example of a fixed mount solar system. This is the typical mounting procedure for residential installations. The panels will be hard mounted to your roof and wired to your power inverter. Then wired to your power meter. The power essentially runs your meter backwards for the power that is produced. |
